Summary
The LogBook/300 and LogBook/360 are portable data acquisition systems that can be used for remote, portable, and unattended operation. The LogBook combines on-board intelligence and a large capacity removable memory card, with the industry’s easiest and most powerful data logging software. Its 16-bit, 100-kHz A/D and triggering capabilities make it ideal for collecting high and low speed phenomena.

The LogBook data acquisition system includes LogView Out-of-the-Box graphical display and acquisition software, which allows for fast setup and easy use, with no programming required. LogView software uses a spreadsheet metaphor rather than programming to configure the channels and the acquisition parameters.

Signal Conditioning and Expansion
The LogBook features 8DE/16SE analog inputs, 40 digital I/O, four counters and 2 timers. A comprehensive array of DBK signal conditioning expansion cards and modules are offered that allow the LogBook to take measurements from virtually any transducer, from thermocouples to accelerometers. The LogBook can be expanded to up to 256 analog inputs and 192 digital I/O lines. The LogBook/360 offers a drawer type design that allows up to 3 DBK signal conditioning cards to be housed internally, with convenient front panel connections.
Included Software
LogView LogView is IOtech’s included Out-of-the-Box software which allows the easy setup and operation of LogBook. LogView’s flexibility can handle virtually any data acquisition environment. The graphical Windows interface can display a variety of spreadsheets, dialog boxes, graphs, charts, and meters; and accepts user input from a mouse and keyboard. The easy-to-learn interface does not require programming or the configuration block diagrams.
PostView PostView is a time and frequency domain post-acquisition data viewing package which is integrated and ready to use from within your View package when you install it. PostView provides easy to use basic time and frequency domain data viewing for IOtech data acquisition View packages including DaqView, WaveView, Personal DaqView, LogView, and ChartView.
