One DBK90 can measure up to 56 thermocouples of any type

DBK Card Enclosures
A system with DBK cards and modules will vary depending on the number of cards and the desired wiring scheme. Various methods of enclosing analog or digital DBK cards are described below.

No Housing
DBK cards can simply reside on the top of a bench, or can be rigidly mounted to a surface via holes that are located in the same location on all cards. Additionally, cards are designed to snap directly into industry-standard “snap-track” housing, which in turn can be mounted to any surface.

3-Slot Expansion Module with Termination Panels
The DBK60 expansion module provides the best method of housing DBK cards, as it offers the most signal connection options. Up to three DBK cards can be installed within one DBK60 enclosure, and an unlimited number of DBK60 enclosures can be secured to one another and to a Daq or LogBook mainframe. User-selectable termination panels offer the user a choice of connector types, including BNC, removable screw-terminal, thermocouple plug, and safety jack. Each panel includes pre-stripped wires which the user can connect to any card installed in the DBK60 enclosure. The DBK60 has an internal backplane, simplifying cabling.

Analog and digital DBK cards cannot be mixed within one DBK60 enclosure, and thus a separate enclosure is required for analog or digital cards.

3-Slot Expansion Module
The DBK10 is a low-profile module into which three DBK cards can be installed. Signal connections are made via the cards’ on-board screw-terminal connections (or via BNC connectors provided on certain DBK cards). DBK cards install into the DBK10 and require a cable to daisy chain the cards to each other and to the system. DBK10 enclosures easily secure to one another, to DBK modules, and to Daq and LogBook systems, via the included fastener panels.

10-Slot Analog Expansion Module
The DBK41 enclosure compactly houses up to 10 analog DBK cards. Signal connections are limited to the screw terminals (or in some cases BNC connectors) on board the enclosed cards. The DBK41 offers the highest density accommodation for DBK cards.
