DBK Signal Conditioning and Expansion Options
for the LogBook, DaqBook, DaqOEM, DaqLab, DaqBoard, and DaqScan

DBK signal conditioning and expansion options enable Daq Series and LogBook products to measure a wide variety of signals and transducer types, as well as expand the maximum number of analog and digital channels. DBK options are either analog and attach to P1, or are digital and attach to P2. Both analog and digital options are available either as boards which install into a variety of DBK enclosures, or modules which are supplied in their own enclosure. Boards generally offer screw-terminal signal connections, while modules offer a more convenient quick-disconnect style of connection. All DBK boards or modules, both digital and analog, have a male DB37 connector which attaches it to the A/D mainframe. The DB37 connector contains the channel selection addressing, analog signal path, and in many instances power for the DBK option. All analog DB37’s are wired in parallel, and all digital DB37’s are wired in parallel, but analog and digital options are never wired to one another.
