Measurement Computing Corporation, an industry leader of computer-based data acquisition hardware and software, has an immediate opening in its Hardware Engineering department.
Job Description
We are seeking a strong digital/embedded Hardware Engineer responsible for the concept, specification and development of multifunction data acquisition products using the latest in highly integrated off-the-shelf mixed signal and SoC devices. This individual will have ability to autonomously develop products on aggressive schedules based upon prior work history. The right candidate will have keen market awareness and the ability to effectively transition products from R&D to manufacturing.
Job Requirements
• Demonstrated experience with HDL-based FPGA/CPLD design
• Experience in Ethernet/Web-based product development
• Working knowledge of 802.3 specification as well as TCP/IP, UDP, XML, HTML
• Experience with 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers (PIC, ARM, 8051), their associated development environments
• Demonstrated history of product-level firmware development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Minimum BS in EE/CS or related field with 2+ years of individual contributor design experience.
Additional Beneficial Skills:
• Prior design experience with PC-based measurement products.
• Analog measurement subsystem design to the 24-bit level.
• Familiarity with USB 2.0, 802.11x and 802.15.4 specifications.
• LabVIEW programming.
• Familiarity with Mentor Graphics Expedition design capture and CAD layout tools.

West Coast Regional Sales Engineer
Measurement Computing, based in Norton, Massachusetts, designs and manufactures PC-based data acquisition and measurement instrumentation. Our products are used in a wide variety of test applications, and serve a diverse set of industries including automotive, aerospace, chemical, communication, electronics, and many others. Engineers, scientists, and technicians are among the users of MCC products, in applications ranging from research and product development, to production monitoring and quality control. MCC products utilize the latest technology including PCI, USB, Ethernet, and Wireless data transmission.
Job Description
Measurement Computing (MCC) is seeking a West Coast Regional Sales Engineer (RSM). This position will be located on the West Coast and requires both management of existing manufacturer’s representatives and direct sales in areas where reps are not assigned. The RSM is responsible for selling and meeting established territory sales goals for all MCC product lines including: general purpose data acquisition, vibration and sound portable instrumentation and complimentary software.
The West Coast RSM position duties also include:
• Planning, organizing and implementing sales programs and methods to attain sales objectives
• Personal involvement of direct sales into strategic and/or large accounts
• Prepare and conduct technical sales seminars for customers in the field
• Interact with other departments within the organization to insure the proper handling of customer
requirements. Provide the necessary feedback to foster future and continued growth.
Requirements
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
• Understanding of computers, high-level programming languages and computer applications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
• 3 - 4 years of direct and/or sales management experience
• Practical experience and understanding of data acquisition and signal conditioning a plus
